Morning in Macau

When you are scheduled to leave before lunch, you have just enough time
to see a side of the city usually reserved for locals.

Mornings in Macau start in your room. Your wakeup call rouses you from the comfort of your bedding and you stumble from your king or queen-size bed to the coffee maker and into the shower. Caffeine in hand, you gaze out the window at the Eiffel Tower, Cotai Strip, or pool deck and start to wonder how you’ll spend this last morning in the city before you jet off to your next destination.

Staying in the Eiffel Tower rooms at The Parisian have obvious benefits. Each and every time you wake, you’ll be greeted by the romantic twists and turns of the steel that makes up our Eiffel Tower. But, with the Rialto Suite at The Venetian, guests can prep for the day in their very own dressing room. Guests in the Sheraton’s Cotai View Deluxe Suites will wake from their signature sleeping experience to striking views of the Cotai Strip.

Mornings in Macau are best done at your own pace. Begin slowly, with breakfast in bed, delivered by the same kitchens that prepare the hotels’ incredible lunch and dinner menus. Or, indulge in a quick morning swim, before the crowds mob the lawn chairs and cool waters, and breakfast by the water.

Stay in the Sands resorts to enjoy a morning that you can only enjoy with us: Grado Mini Golf at The Venetian and a gondola ride through the canal followed by a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower to soak in the views. Return to earth and spend your last few hours exploring the streets and eateries of Macau’s most iconic hotels.

When you want to get your day going early, order room service the night before and pack a breakfast. Then, call down to the concierge and get yourself to Hac Sa pearly white sands in time to set up your picnic and water the sun rise over the waves. Finish your meal, have a quick swim, and hike back along the trails that crisscross the Coloane area.

Guests at Four Seasons can arrange for bicycles and boats to tour the area, taking in views of Zhuhai and the famous Taipa houses in the morning sunlight before stopping by the Tin Hua temple and making your way back to the Cotai Strip for breakfast.

In Macau’s center, the Forteleza do Monte opens at 7AM, with the museum opening its doors at 10. Early explorers can venture unimpeded through the maze of streets around Senado Square, sampling breakfast treats from the vendors and shops as you make your way from St Paul’s to A-Ma Temple, beating the crowds at every turn.

But, maybe after waking up and taking a swim or having a personalized gym session with one of our trainers at any of our gyms, you want to relax. Take a step back from physical activity and spend your last precious Macanese moments being pampered in the Bodhi or Sheraton Shine Spa. Nothing prepares the skin for transit, whether by ferry or plane, like a moisturizing treatment and nothing prepares the mind like an hour of massage.
