Suncity Group Presents Sam & Tam Happy Together World Tour – Macao at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Arena

Two of Hong Kong’s biggest-ever acts combine forces for thrilling ‘history of Cantopop’ on Feb. 16, 2019

(Macao, Jan. 10, 2019) – Sam Hui and Alan Tam, two of the biggest names in Asian popular music, will join forces at The Venetian® Macao’s Cotai Arena on Feb. 16, 2019 for Suncity Group Presents Sam & Tam Happy Together World Tour – Macao. Tickets go on sale on Jan. 10, 2019 at all Cotai Ticketing box offices.

Sam Hui, regarded as the first genuine Cantopop superstar, and Alan Tam, one of the most successful Hong Kong singers, will give fans a night of nostalgia and reminiscence. At the concert, audiences will travel through a “musical time tunnel” and experience the evolution of Cantopop through the decades.

Hui and Tam will offer fresh interpretations and new lyrics for their classic songs alongside brand new tracks. In addition to a number of duets, they will also sing solo, performing both their own and each other's greatest hits.

Guaranteed to deliver an audio-visual feast, fans can expect sublime music, humorous exchanges between the two seasoned entertainers, plenty of audience interaction, state of the art stage design, impressive lighting and effects, glitzy costume changes and surprise special guest.

Credited with elevating and popularising Cantopop, Hui is nicknamed the “God of Songs” due to his outstanding natural ability. With more than 23 albums to his name, some of his most famous tunes include “The Heart of a Loafer” and “Tsim Sha Tsui Susie”. Tam has meanwhile released over 100 albums, selling 35 million records worldwide. He also holds the record for the most concerts in Hong Kong as a solo artist. One of his most popular songs is “Love in Autumn”, a classic romantic ballad that was a hit tune across Asia.
